Speakers

Katie Hurst is the Trainee Committee Representative on RCSEd Council and Chair of the RCSEd Sustainability Champions. She is a General Surgery Registrar (ST5) in the Thames Valley deanery, with an interest in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. Following her medical graduation from Cardiff, she went onto an academic clinical fellowship and DPhil in Oxford. She sat on the RCSEd trainees committee for 3 years prior to taking over as chair in 2021. She is a mum of two, enjoys sport, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
