We have combined a fabric polycotton theatre hat with a durable name badge which can attach to the hats to be worn during surgery, then detach for laundering- the badge can simply be cleaned using a clinel wipe or any detergent of choice and the hats laundered like scrubs.

Our reusable badge hats combines a tried and tested fabric thetare hat with a yellow name badge with black text to clearly identify everyone in the operating theatre, including students and visitors.

 Each staff member will keep hold of their name badges, just like they do with their hello my name is badges and access cards.  

Our theatre badges hats can be reused over and over again, even when staff leave, the hats continue to be worn by staff members unlike embroidered theatre hats which are lost to departments in high quantities as they cannot be worn by anyone else.

The future in improving communication, reducing adverse events, improving patient safety and the patient journey as well as making sustainable changes can be achieved by implementing our theatre badge hats, which we would like to get into all theatre departments in the UK.
